'Oppenheimer' dẫn đầu danh sách đề cử giải Oscar 2024

Đúng như dự đoán, bộ phim "Oppenheimer" của Christopher Nolan đã có màn trình diễn ấn tượng để dẫn đầu danh sách ứng cử viên cho giải Oscar năm 2024 với 13 đề cử, bao gồm cả phim hay nhất.

Lễ trao giải Oscar 2024 sẽ được tổ chức vào ngày 10/3.

“Poor Things”, một bộ phim giả tưởng xoay quanh câu chuyện Frankenstein về nữ quyền, giành được 11 đề cử, trong khi bộ phim chính kịch "Killers of the Flower Moon" của Martin Scorsese, biên niên sử về vụ giết người Osage những năm 1920, giành được 10 đề cử.

Bộ phim ‘bom tấn’ mùa hè "Barbie" đã gây ấn tượng tại các phòng vé khắp toàn cầu, giành được 8 đề cử, trong đó có đề cử cho nam diễn viên phụ Ryan Gosling và nữ diễn viên phụ America Ferrera. Tuy nhiên, điều đáng ngạc nhiên là ngôi sao “Barbie” Margot Robbie bị loại khỏi cuộc đua nữ diễn viên chính xuất sắc nhất và Gerwig không lọt vào danh sách đạo diễn xuất sắc nhất.

Sáu bộ phim khác cũng có cơ hội tranh giải cao nhất là "American Fiction" của Cord Jefferson, "Anatomy of a Fall" của Justine Triet, "The Holdovers" của Alexander Payne, “Maestro” của Cooper, “Past Lives” của Celine Song và “The Zone of Interest” của Jonathan Glazer.

Các đạo diễn Triet, Scorsese, Nolan, Lanthimos và Glazer được vinh danh ở hạng mục Đạo diễn xuất sắc nhất.

Những đề cử cho hạng mục Nam diễn viên chính xuất sắc nhất thuộc về Bradley Cooper (“Maestro”), Colman Domingo (“Rustin”), Paul Giamatti (“The Holdovers”), Cillian Murphy (“Oppenheimer”) và Jeffrey Wright (“American Fiction”).

Ở hạng mục Nữ diễn viên chính xuất sắc nhất, các đề cử gồm có Annette Bening (“Nyad”), Lily Gladstone (“Killers of the Flower Moon”), Sandra Hüller (“Anatomy of a Fall”), Carey Mulligan (“Maestro”) và Emma Stone ("Những điều tồi tệ").

Theo nhà bình luận Daniel Arkin của kênh NBCnews, không có nghệ sĩ nào xứng đáng giành được giải Oscar hơn Da'Vine Joy Randolph với vai phụ trong “The Holdovers” với vai một người quản lý quán cà phê đang thương tiếc cái chết của con trai cô ở Việt Nam. Nữ diễn viên Randolph trước đây từng chiến thắng tại Giải Quả Cầu Vàng và Giải Sự lựa chọn của Nhà phê bình.

Danh sách các đề cử cho giải Oscar 2024 đã được diễn viên Zazie Beetz (“Joker”) và Jack Quaid (“Oppenheimer”) công bố vào tối muộn ngày thứ Ba (23/1). Theo NBCnews, MC nổi tiếng kiêm nhà sản xuất Jimmy Kimmel lần thứ tư làm người dẫn chương trình trao giải Oscar vào ngày 10/3.

Theo đánh giá, sự hấp dẫn của quán quân phòng vé “Barbie” (1,4 tỷ USD toàn cầu) và “Oppenheimer” (952 triệu USD toàn cầu) có thể giúp thu hút người xem đến với chương trình trao giải Oscar năm nay. Buổi lễ trao giải năm ngoái đã tăng rating (chỉ số quan tâm của người xem truyền hình) một phần nhờ vào các siêu phẩm “Top Gun: Maverick” và “Avatar: The Way of Water”.
